Trisha and Toshiro Birthday

Rachel attended Trisha and Toshiro's birthday last weekend. Trisha's birthday was on Saturday and Toshiro's birthday on Sunday. It was party time for Rachel.

Trisha's birthday was fun and girly. There were tattoos and nail polish stall. All the girls were excited to have their nails polished. Rachel looked very happy with her nails polished, because Mommy never allows her to have it before. There were some show performances such as yoyo show, magic show, doggie show. And a lot of presents during the game led by the MC. At the end of the party, the birthday girl broke the pinata, but before that the MC made all the kids feel HOT first, he asked all the kids to dance and jump with the song 'I love you, baby !!' Before going home the guests were given the goody bag and cool bubble... What a fabulous party !!!

Toshiro's birthday was a theme swimming day. Rachel was very exicited to come. It was a boy's birthday...just simple, with the game and singing together, and for the rest of the party...let's go swimming !!!!

The parties were over, but Rachel still had them in her memory and told Mommy that on her 6th birthday she wants a party like Trisha's and Toshiro's...OMG !!!!!

Mandarin Performance

Kid's Restaurant by TK B1

Last Friday, Rachel' school invited all the parents to attend the Kid's Restaurant. It was a real restaurant attended by all TK B classes. Every class had its own creativity to make their 'Fun kids restaurant'

The kids prepared all the restaurant things 3 days before. They made the table cloths, the flowers for the table, the hat, the banner, the apron, and also copied some words to make the menu. They also did some practice on their allocated duties such as ushers, waiters, chefs, and cashiers. And Rachel was chosen to be an usher together with Toshiro, Almer, Gilbert, Stephanie, Didi and Rosamun.

The Kid's Restaurant was totally amazing. The kids did very well and had lots of fun. The ushers welcomed the parents with nice greeting, " Good morning Madam/Sir, welcome to Kid's Restaurant, please come in!". The waiters took the orders with check list note, and came back to serve the parents with the correct meal. The chefs were very busy preparing the food in the kitchen and the teachers helped them. The cashier asked the parents what they ordered and counted how much that the parents should pay. Once they received the money, they counted really carefully.

Mommy came and enjoyed the progress. Two thumbs up to this school program and also for the all kids... They are just simply fantastic!

Happy Birthday Ai Nono

I got nice straw bag from Rachel for my birthday. Can you see the patched accessories ? they are candies, cupcakes, lollypop and ice cream. I rememberred the first time we drawed together. We drawed exactly the same. So, Rachel can proudly draw them very well and getting better everytime. hehehe.... where is the burger and sausages anyway ? and the french fries ? :D

Lets Play Polly, Ai Nono

That will be Rachel's first request whenever ai nono comes to her house. Sometimes, when talked on the phone, she also asked me when i would come to her house and play polly with her. It was on Lebaran 2007 in Pekalongan when we started this ritual. She has a full box of polly and friends, complete with the dresses, shoes, bags, flowers, and even the cats and dogs to play with. We usually start with a theme, like "Today is a pink day" or " Lets go to the party" or " Today is sport day " . So we dressed up the polly and friends according to the themes.

And then, the story developed. There was a bug ring she usually wore. We used the bug to chase the polly, and stinged all of them. We played doctor in the hospital with the same case, bug sting. We started with calling ambulance, go to the ICU, call the doctor and ask the doctor to give each of them a JAB.

The other theme is going to Hagendaz and order ice cream. Or... going to Starbuck and ask for milk.... ( you know what i mean ? Mommy always asks for a cup of fresh milk for rachel whenever we go to Starbuck... so instead of ordering Ice Caramel Macchiato as we usually do, she orders milk for all polly !!!! )

This weekend, we did the same ritual as Ai Nono came to her place. All pollies seemed got a bad flu that day. So, all went to hospital and got so many jabs from the doctor...:)

Rachel is so cute... she always develops the story, so it never be the same one everytime we play polly. Even, she has different story if she play with Kakak in Pekalongan, and switch the language to bahasa.
